This 8,000 SF renovation creates a new lobby and endoscopy procedure unit. The building entrance was reconfigured, lobby renovated, and new suite created. Patient flow was studied carefully and the spaces were designed to provide an experience that will reduce the stress of the procedure. The prep and recovery areas are gracious and patient contact with staff maximized so that patients are confident they are being attended to. A prep/recovery mock-up was executed for staff review to finalize the device locations. Bays are standardized so they can serve as prep or recover as demand shifts throughout the day.
